Transnet Freight Rail is offering a Young Professional-in-Training: Industrial Psychology position for unemployed South African graduates aged 18-35. The two-year program provides hands-on experience and institutional knowledge in Industrial Psychology, focusing on Change Management. Successful candidates will work in various depots, contributing to organizational change initiatives and developing communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured two-year graduate development programme
  • Gain knowledge and hands-on experience in Industrial Psychology and Change Management
  • Assist in implementing change management initiatives within the organization
  • Contribute to organizational development projects, focusing on employee engagement and performance
  • Work closely with senior professionals to understand and support employee relations and human resources processes
  • Participate in the development and execution of HR strategies that support business goals

Qualifications

  • Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology with Change Management
  • Qualification must be obtained from a Department of Higher Education & Training registered institution (Universities, Universities of Technology, or TVET Colleges)
  • No prior work experience is required
  • Must be a South African citizen
